AIT sacks all workers in its Edo station after their Protest
The management of the African Independent Television (AIT) today
relieved all the workers of its station in Benin City of their
appointments with immediate effect. This is coming after workers
protested non payment of salaries three weeks ago.
The workers had protested the non payment of their salaries which was running into two years.
This development was made known in a letter signed by Mr Victor Okasoga, Senior Manager in charge of Human Resources...
Okasoga said their appointments have been terminated with effect from June 13 2016.
The letter directed those affected to handover all company properties
in their possession especially their identity cards to the Head of
Center and failure to surrender company properties may delay the
processing of their entitlements.
